Deptt. of Punjabi organized two days U.G.C. sponsored seminar on the
topic
Gurmat Kav: Bahupakhi Adhiyan. Dr. S.P. Singh (Ex. Vice
Chancellor, GNDU) delivered his
inaugural speech. Dr. Jagbir Singh (Ex Head & Prof. Delhi
University, Delhi) delivered the Key note address. Dr. Jodh Singh
(Editor Encyclopedia Deptt. of Sikhism, Punjabi Univ, Patiala) presided
over the inaugural session. The technical session was presided over by
Dr. Dharam Singh (Head & Prof) school of Punjabi studies GNDU
Amritsar. Papers were presented by Dr. Gurpal Singh Sandhu (Punjabi
Deptt. Punjab Univ Chandigarh), Dr Jatinder Pal Singh Jolly, School of
Punjabi studies GNDU., Dr. Harminder Singh Bedi (Hindi Deptt. GNDU),
Dr. Gurnam Singh Bedi(Principal, Govt. College, Tarntarn). An
extension lecture on Bhasha- Dhuni Vighan : Ek Adhiyan was organized by
Dr Sukhwinder Singh Sangha, HOD Punjabi deptt GNDU regional campus

PG Deptt. of Political Science organised UGC sponsored National seminar
on “Foreign Policy of India in Changing Scenario”. Ambassador
Parmjit Singh Sahai inaugurated this seminar. Prof Dr. Kuldeep Singh(
GNDU) delivered Key Note address. The 1st session of the seminar was
presided by Prof Dr. Gurnam Singh (Registrar GNDU), 2nd session was
presided by Dr. R.S. Sandhu (Head Pol. Sc. Deptt GNDU), Dr. S.S. Narang(
Retd. Prof GNDU), Dr. Rajesh of Social sciences GNDU, Dr. Baljeet(Jammu
University, Jammu), Prof S.S. Gill(Retd, Govt College, Gurdaspur), Prof
Pawan, Prof Rajan(Doaba College Jalandhar) presented their papers in
this seminar. |

Deptt of English organized UGC sponsored seminar on ‘Moral Values in
Higher Education”. The seminar was inaugurated by Acharya Vinayak
Chetanaya(Archarya Chinmay mission). Dr. C.D. Shastri (Retd. Principal
Govt College, Tarntarn) delivered the key note address. Former Registrar
Dr. R.S. Bawa Presided over the inaugural session. The technical session
was presided over by Dr. Naresh from Chandigarh. In this session, Sh.
Ashwani Kumar Sharma(Principal, Excutive Manager MBD Enterprises), Dr.
M.S Gill (Sociology Deptt. GNDU), Dr. Satish Verma (Director Publication
GNDU) enlightened the audience with their invaluable thinking. |

Rashtriya Ekta Ke Vaahak' : The seminar was inauguarted by Prof.
Sawantantra Kumar Murgai (V.C. gurukul Kangri, Hardwar). Literary genius
Dr. C.D. Shastri(Retd. Principal Govt. College, Tarantaran) delivered
the Key note address. Dr. Brij Bihari Chaube(Sadhu Ashram, Hoshiarpur)
presided over the inaugural session. Dr. Krishan Murari Sharma(Sadhu
Ashram, Hoshiarpur), Dr. Renu Bala( Head of Department, G.N.D.U), Dr.
Lekh Ramji(GNDU), Dr. Dalbeer Singh Ji(GNDU), Dr. Kedarnath Sharma(Jammu
University, Jammu), Dr. Kuldeep Singh Arya(Asr), Dr. L.P
Upadhaya(Jalandhar) enlightened the audience with their valuable
thinking. In the end Principal Mrs. Nirmal Pandhi summed up by saying
that we all should study Sanskrit language. |
